Join the community of leaders, citizens, organizations, and businesses who will come together at the second annual Sustainable Contra Costa Awards Gala to recognize those who are making outstanding contributions to sustainability in Contra Costa County. California Senator Mark Desaulnier will once again announce and present the awards to the winners.

Jerry Hart, host of Smart Green Travel Worldwide will be the emcee and guests will be entertained by Jim Ocean – Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist. The reception will feature local wines and delicious food from local restaurants including Sunrise Bistro and Nibblers Eatery. There will be a silent auction and a raffle – sending two lucky winners home with either a Sorrento Electric Scooter or IZIP Urban Cruiser Enlightened electric bike. The annual Awards Gala is the main fundraiser for Sustainable Contra Costa – a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization established in 2007.
